Just recently got a Q2 sline. Can someone tell me if the boot locking button on the remote is only supposed to lock and unlock it or when u press the button, the boot is supposed to swing open??
Long press on the middle button opens the boot. One single press of the middle button only unlocks just the boot, not all doors. You need to keep it pressed down. Much lie if you keep the lock or open buttons pressed down for a few seconds, the windows open of close.
I think when the boot is open, another long press closes it. Might be wrong though.
Fair enough! Thought it was standard on S-Line. Then again I'm not in the UK so I guess it's a different market.
Anyway, if it's electronic then long press on the middle button will open and close it. If it's not electronic, then I guess you just get it unlocked!
Spoke to the dealer and they said that pressing the middle button will only unlock the boot and not swing it open too. This feature is available in 2019 models. Mine is 2018.

Just after some advice I've just picked up my 73 plate q2 sline the boot opens fully off the fob but does not close when I press it again
Is this right
Any advice appreciated

Yes, that is correct - though easy enough to retrofit an extra module into the car so that it also auto closes on long-press middle button.
