Re: Hi from bristol

I've got a 1.5L Q2 with a S-tronic gearbox which is the gearbox that I would personally recommend. Regarding the 1.5L engine I have been lucky as I don't have the kangarooing problems that some people have reported, it does seem a bit of a gamble though, as Ormesome says there are now software updat...

Re: How common is the 1.5 TFSI engine problem?

Guess I must be lucky, the temp. last night was -2 degrees and my car had no kangarooing issues, it was performing just the same as it does in the summer.

I'm on slightly over 5000 miles, and I usually check levels every couple of weeks. I've topped up the oil twice, but only with a small amount each time.
I'll have to keep an eye on it, hopefully it was in the first few thousand miles it used most of the oil and not so much now, time will tell.

Oil consumption.

On Friday evening I was surprised when I started my car that oil level warning light came on. I checked the dipstick and the oil level was just above the min. My car has done about 6250 miles so maybe most of the oil was used when the car was new. Has anybody else with the 1.5 TFSI engine noticed an...

Re: Boot light

Hi

You have to get the LED equivalent that is a Canbus bulb. It has to be Canbus to be error free.

They are for sale on eBay but not sure how good these LED bulbs are.

I'm not really surprised this happens as most cars nowadays stop injecting fuel into the engine when you are braking to save fuel and reduce emissions.

Re: Hello - recent Q2 owner and having major sat nav issues

Hi,

I don't connect my phone for the Sat Nav to work, it sounds to me like you should get the dealer you bought the car from to set it up for you.

I hope you get it sorted soon and continue to like your Q2.
