Re: A very quiet Forum

Hi, Worth getting Carista OBD2 (available on Amazon for £24.99) and you also get a free 1-month trial of full app features included. Usually there is a way to become a Beta tester that gives you access to test and report back on the new customisations before they are launched, but this is currently ...

Re: A very quiet Forum

Hi, Like a lot of forums, there seems to be more activity when things go wrong with the car or someone has discovered an issue that been overlooked (ignored) and once the issue is posted, this sets off a chain reaction, and the forum lights up! I remember the problems with the DSG gearbox that fille...

Re: Q2 quite?

Hi, My Q2 Black Edition petrol has 19” wheels and I find the car reasonably quiet even on our pot holed roads. I did test drive a S-line on 18” and didn’t notice much difference between the two. Like ormesome, bigger wheel really set the car off and it was one reason I went for the Black Edition. It...

Re: Vegas Yellow Q2

Hi, I like the colour and did put a deposit down on an ex demo Black Edition Q2 with a monster spec in Vegas yellow, but after sleeping on it, and numerous comments about it being custard machine, yellow peril, taxi, the need for sunglasses, and a few unprintable ones, I phoned up and cancelled the ...

Q2 Ceramic coated

Hi, Just got my car back from the detailer after 3 days, and really pleased with the results. Also had the wheel and glass ceramic coated. Did think about doing the ceramic coating myself, but with no garage or under cover space, decided to use the detailer who looked after my previous Audi. Knowing...

Re: Fitting seat covers - removing headrest

Hi,

I guess you are looking at the fronts, and me not asking, I was thinking you meant the rears. Sorry my fault.

Have a look at the video that’s for the A3, and that model has the same headrest setup as the Q2.

Re: Fitting seat covers - removing headrest

Is page 59 in the handbook, but they may have changed the numbering with the later editions.

Re: Fitting seat covers - removing headrest

Hi, You need to press the side button located on the plastic cap that sits on the top of the seat back, hold this in and pull the headrest up as far as it will go. Then use a thin bladed screwdriver in the slot on the other plastic cap on the top of seat back - you should see a thin opening. Then wh...
