i agree, mine was fitted with Michelin Primacy as OE on 18 inch wheels, and I have stayed with them, quiet and hardwearing with no problems of Grip, mine isa 1.4 petrol, on good roads very quiet with little tyre noise.

Without seeing and hearing it is difficult to diagnose, two possibilities come to mind: 1. The blades noisy as the rubbers flip over and change their direction of travel, suggest checking the rubbers, if OK, clean with vinegar and then also and cleaning the screen, a good screen wash additive may he...

If it's the same as the Q3, push the boot lid to the level you want then press the close button until it bleeps, it should then be set.

You need keys, I obtained a set from Halfords for £5 if I remember correctly. Inset them in the slots on either side, this will push the lugs inwards and allow the player to be pulled forward and out.

Can you define 'Noisy' is the motor noisy, or the mechanism, or are the wiper blades scraping or screeching on the screen.

If the condensation is on all the windows, check carpets etc. for dampness, this may not mean a leak just a car that has stood for some time, or wet from shoes etc.. Otherwise use the MAX button on the heating system, this will put air on the screen, heat and air con. Hope this helps.

I have a steep hill near my home with a sharp bend at the bottom, and have to travel up it accelerating from a low speed, I have exactly the same issue, and use the paddles to change up but it very quickly changes down again. 35 front and 31 rear in PSI on mine, normal weight, they are different for comfort and heavy load settings, but check the tyre plate on the door edge, yours may be different.
