Re: 1st Audi (and last Q2)

Well this winter has been interesting and after 10 months the Q2 has gone.... Whilst fuel economy was OK at an average 40 mpg I did find the ride rather 'skittish' (but being used to big hydraulic suspension Citroens that was always going to be an issue) The negatives though were not good and could ...

Re: Q2 + Apple CarPlay

You won't like the following comments guys but I have a lot of years of driving behind me. For me, a car is a machine to get you from A-B, not a mobile juke box. All these modern addons like car play et al, are a distraction which like a mobile phone, should not be used whilst driving anyway and the...

There is nothing to stop you simply swapping the DRL bulbs for LED's - see viewtopic.php?f=8&t=473&hilit=DRL&start=10

Re: Clutch slipping

I suspect that "modern" mechanics are so reliant on computer diagnostics that they never learn traditional methods of detecting problems. Best leave it to someone used to getting their hands dirty. There are no "modern mechanics" there all 'technicians' who, without a diagnostic computer to tell th...

Hi AllanG, Automatic dual zone climate control is standard equipment on the Q2
Sorry but to clarify, it wasn't standard equipment at launch. Dual Zone Climate was an optional extra on some models and if you look on the 'configurator' it's still a £525.00 option

Re: audi sticker emblem for blades

£26.00?? Sorry but that's another Audi parts rip off as you can get the same quality from that online auction site for far less as documented on this site.

Re: My Q2 "Demonstrator".

The colour suits the car and as you say, interior access is good and with the rear seats down the load capacity is good for a car of it's size. Overall a well put together design but some of the 'extras' can be pricey.

Re: Winter Wheel And Tyre Package

Surely the idea of 'winter wheels' is to protect alloys from all the corrosive salt used on roads so a set of far cheaper steel rims shod with winter tyres makes more sense (for those areas in the UK where 'winters' are longer)?

Re: A1 to Q2 in 6 days

Enjoy, the 1.4 TFSI engine married to the S Tronic is a very 'nippy' car which handles well on the road.

Re: Q2 - steering wheel

@qubak I have encountered the same situation where occasionally pulling up to a junction etc. the stop start engages and yes the steering goes heavy for an instant as apparently the 'electrical assistance' to the power steering is cut. It doesn't last very long at all, or happen very often, so hasn'...
