Re: Annoying rattles and knocking sounds!

I had the same problem and the dealership fixed it by wrapping tape around the locking mechanism for the back seat. There appears to be a certain amount of play in the latch. I can’t believe an Audi dealer would fix the issue with tape that’s what I would expect from a back street garage, if you dr...

Re: Re new 35 1.5 TFSI Engines

Thanks for the reply. The "kangaroo" problem is not severe. I can feel the car jumping back and forth very slightly on 2nd and 3rd gear. Once the engine is warm everything seems fine. I will try better petrol first and if "problem" persists, then I will take the car back to the dealer. why spend mo...

Re: Power-operated Tailgate as Standard in 2019 models?

From my understanding they seem to do it as they changed from the 1.4 petrol to the 1.5 maybe as a sweetener? most people who ordered a 1.4 didn't know they would have the 1.5 until it turned up, although can't say about deisel's if this was the reason. We all know that Audi seem to give you absolut...

Re: Q2 Puddle Lights

I agree about the cost cutting, we were surprised there was no glovebox light. I love our Q2 Sline, however in terms of cost cutting they have now made dual zone heating an extra, it is things like this, and heated seats being extra. For us S- line is a top of range model, and we feel, that certain...

Re: Buying warranty-worth it?

I was always led to believe that car dealer warranties were not worth the paper they are written on, however how wrong I was. Our other car is an Alpha 2009 Spider and have owned it for 3 years when I bought it it came with a warranty from a company called Warrantwise the one Quinton Wilson promotes...

Re: EFB+ battery

If only all dealers were the same................. Although they couldn't replace my faulty battery they did kindly send me a nice video (as they did a few weeks ago during my service) telling me in detail that the tread on my tyres was good, as were my brakes. I have ordered a Yuasa replacement st...

Re: Whats your MPG for Q2

I get 40mpg on mixed driving in our 1.4 auto but don't have climate though, so if you have it would be reduced a bit but not much I think it's an amazing engine.

Re: Re new 35 1.5 TFSI Engines

I have a Q3 as a curtsy car with this engine haven’t experienced the kangaroo syndrome as yet my car has gone in with our napper leather looking like it’s got 140,000 miles on it instead of just 4,000 they are sagging. The dealer rang me mid afternoon to say they need it for another 3/4 days so if t...
