Re: Re: Living with Q2 as a family car

Dead easy to live with! I don't have a family as such but for me and the girlfriend the Q2 is a step up from the A3. I do many many miles in my car, driving all over Europe and the 1st trip I did in my Q2 was from Switzerland to UK. around 1000 miles in totally over a week. Drive was lovely with the...

Re: Winter rims?

I don't have winter rims. I do have winter and summer tyres though,. I have the 19 inch wheels as I have the 1st Edition Q2 and im not too fussed. The cost of buying new wheels is way higher than repairing a small scratch on the current alloys and even then I could damage the winter rims so there is...

Re: Speed cams Alerts UK

Does it give you a voice prompt for a speed camera ? Are you asking me? if so then no voice prompt, but I get a nice little "bing" when near the speed cameras. This is activated by the arrival near destination feature in the MMI which you can turn on for various POIs. To be honest, I would hate a v...

Re: Speed cams Alerts UK

I use this website. you have to pay, but its the best out there that iv tried. It sincs to your MMI via the USB and shows up all speed cameras including mobile ones. You can add other POIs too.

Re: Need Audi MMI GPS map for Sri Lanka

On My Audi website you can select a different country and register. Just use the UK or something and then put in your VIN number which is usually on the window front screen. If this doesn't work then im out of ideas. If you don't have the tech pack, for example 8inch screen and I think Virtual Cockp...

Re: Audi SQ2

Is this the case for all S and RS Audi cars? I was on the Audi Sport A3 forum for a while when I owned my A3, loads of stories almost weekly of an S or RS stolen. Some where stolen in very scary ways too. The SQ2 looks a little under the radar to me so might not be affected.

Re: Virtual cockpit

Get the VC no matter what! its amazing. It makes the interior a much nicer and posher place to be. Also, in my opinion, the Q2's with the bigger 19 inch alloys look better. Iv got the 1st Edition and it is the only one I would have gone for. Each to their own of course!

Re: Audi Connect Manual (Q2)

Re: Picking up Q2 this weekend

Agree with Mr C. on this. I had an A3 recently, 3 month before I sold it I had the Sat Nav activated at the cost of 500pounds! upgraded 1 month ago to the Q2 and didn't get anything extra price wise for my A3 so it really wasn't worth the cost. If I had kept in then yes its worth it but not if you k...

Re: Removal of CD player

you put your SD card in to the CD player? how did you do this?!!! I'm almost impressed!! :D Joking aside, try the advice above, you prob need to take out the CD player and then take it apart to get the SD Card out. Or, if the CD player is flat, ie the SD Card hasn't dropped out of sight, then a coup...
