Re: Hello - recent Q2 owner and having major sat nav issues

I've contacted the dealer and they will activate it for me - just need to book it in. I'm hoping it won't cost me £500 as it should have been activated and working ready for when I collected it less than 2 weeks ago! I don't have the virtual cockpit. The SD card that they did give me (unactivated a...

Re: Hello - recent Q2 owner and having major sat nav issues

Thanks andy.h and ormesome for your replies and for clarifying matters - yes I did mean SD card rather than sim - sorry! I've contacted the Audi dealer I bought the car from and asked them to sort it. Thanks again, Sarah Great. Hope it works out. Your talking at the very least 500pounds to do this ...

Re: Hello - recent Q2 owner and having major sat nav issues

Ok so , no SIM card should be used for the sat nav. You must mean SD Card? Phone, app or anything like that has nothing to do with Sat Nav. You need to get to Audi or the dealer to get them to activate it. Its exactly like the facelift A3. I had an A3 PFL and its super similar. I would be questionin...

Re: Verge of buying a Q2

I owned 2 Audis with both these engines. The car is different but the engine and figures are the same as Q2. I see it like this: *A3 1.6tdi, average 55.6mpg over 30,000 miles. This included trips all over Europe and loads of city driving. City would equal 45mpg, Long trip on the motorway would be 6...

Re: Verge of buying a Q2

Copying and pasting my message here as you seem to have posted 3 times about the same thing. It gets confusing! Also, why start new threads days after people have answered your question in the other started threads??? Anyway, I had a 1.6tdi A3 and was getting 50-60mpg easily. I would assume you woul...

Re: Hello from Surrey

Hi All, I have recently become an owner of a Q2 1.4 TFSI 7 Speed S-Tronic Black S-Line, and love it to bits. :D I live in Walton on Thames, Surrey and work in Technology (that little networking company beginning with C ;) Outside of work I am a keen Sailor (hence buying the Q2) love live music, gre...

Re: New member and possibly away to buy a Q2 today

I had a 1.6tdi A3 and was getting 50-60mpg easily. I would assume you would get 50mpg minimum and more on a trip. God knows how much that is to fill up as its so variable but I would expect it to be the best engine for mpg int he whole range, thats including petrol obv. Personally I would go for the...

Re: Start/stop problem Q2 sport

If you want to cancel the start/stop module then you are best off getting Carista from Amazon. It comes with a 1month trial so you can fiddle around with the other options too. VAG car coding as super good and offer amazing services, but I would go with something like Carista that you can have lying...

Re: Second hand Q2 from a non-Audi dealer / high mileage?

Great question about the tyre and will it fit? It also raises an earlier question I had about trying to lower the boot tray. Currently I have the B&O subwoofer installed and the polystyrene cut-out for tool storage. https://www.q2forums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=345&hilit=subwoofer&start=20#p1769 s...
