Re: Airbag on alert on ignition

Yes. It’s the alert to show the passenger airbag is on. EU/UK law I think and every car does it incase you have a child’s seat installed. Can be muted with Carista, although I haven’t done this

Re: Petrol v Diesel

My wife bought the VW T-Roc with the 1.5 in March engine is great no issues goes very well and on a long run we got 43+ to the gallon.Over the next few years diesels will completely disappear in road cars due to governments and lobbyist being anti Rubbish! I live in Switzerland and the EU is full o...

Re: A very quiet Forum

Most forums are to be fair. Only a few die-hard forums for Audi are vibrant, Audi Sport.net is good but only on the A3 section, iv had a few MGs and other brands and the forums vary but it usually points towards how enthusiastic the owners are about their cars. The Q2 is pretty run of the mill reall...

Re: Extended Warranty

My experiences from when I had an A3, read to the end. The piece of the Audi extended warranty is sensitive to you taking it out in the final month before expiry, if you do it before or after then the price doubles.

Re: First service

Hi, I’ve checked as there are a few other items as well as shown on the link below. Be interested to know the cost of your ten year package, especially as your costs are usually astronomical compared with the UK. https://customer.vwfs.co.uk/content/dam/bluelabel/valid/www-vwfs-co-uk/documents/self-...

Re: First service

Hi, I purchased the Audi Complete service and maintenance package over three years as that worked out a very good deal. I made sure my car is on the fixed service setting so I get the three services. The cost is mileage based, so in my case, that’s 10,000 a year and I pay £20 per month over the thr...

Re: Battery cover

A couple of quick questions about the battery as I have a Moll battery in my Q2: 1) Is there anyway to tell whether I have an affected battery (eg from a serial number of manufacture date)? https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/460991-battery-fault-and-replacement-vehicle/?do=findComment&comment=51...

Re: Fuel flap

If you are in the U.K. then call out Audi Assist if you are nearly out of fuel and get them to find the manual release. If you are ok for fuel at the mo then go in to your Audi dealer and get it booked in. The A3 has a fault with its filer cap release part, mine broke twice! perhaps this is the same...

Re: Launch control?

Love it thanks for that. I’ll give it a try and report back tomorro Did you have any success trying this? Hope your clutch is still ok! Hey, no haven’t yet. Tried it then bottled out. Been super wet here and I haven’t really had an open safe bit of road to do it. I want to try it, just to see what ...
