Re: Annoying rattles and knocking sounds!

No rattle on my 2019 model so all they have to do is to order a new spare part, even if it has to be a new rear set. Fixing Audi with tapes is a very bad joke.

Re: What a dip-stick

Funny - you find it stupid to have a dip stick and I find it stupid to rely on mmi for oil level check. Pull the stick out, clean the yellow part, get it back in, pull again and read the oil level - make sure it's within the marked area. Also would save you 15 minutes if you just checked the owners ...

Re: MPG - How we all doing

Everyone with 1.6TDI chill out. I had mine do 6--8 L per 100km while the new engine was running-in. For me that was first 2000-3000km of the car life. Currently on 6500km mileage and I'm doing 5.5 L / 100km when flooring it and 4 - 4.8 L / 100km when driving normally. Mixed roads. What was surprisin...

Re: Windscreen washer delay on trigger / lagging

Thanks all for your input. I genuinely thought it's some sort of control unit problem but it seems it is like that by design - weirdly.
Luckily the only "issue" I have found on my Q2 so far :)
Thanks

Re: Just ordered a Black edition - diesel did i make a mistake ?

I have Q2 1.6TDI with DSG, delivered Jan 2019 and man that thing goes! It is agile and feels best at motorway speeds. 150-180 Km/h is a very comfy cruising speed if you like to go that fast. Just be sure to run it in properly; gentle with the accelerator in the first 2000km :)

Re: Battery cover

Good idea about the top cover being hidden - will check! I have disabled the startstop function to prevent some wear on the battery, however just remembered I had a low battery level warning for no reason last weekend, so yeah there might be a battery replacement coming in the next few months for me...

Re: Battery cover

My 1.6 tdi doesn't have the top cover for battery. Only on sides. Also the battery is not agm but efb for some weird reason, but whatever I guess engineers know what they're doing.

Re: Boot Organiser

I have the subwooer too. Just removed the PS holder from the boot. Car jack went straight out (useless with the roadside assistance anyway) and all the other tools could fit into a small pocket. So I now have two levels booth floor whenever I need it. I have bought a cheap aftermarket boot mat but f...
