Re: Battery cover

Good idea about the top cover being hidden - will check! I have disabled the startstop function to prevent some wear on the battery, however just remembered I had a low battery level warning for no reason last weekend, so yeah there might be a battery replacement coming in the next few months for me...

Re: Battery cover

My 1.6 tdi doesn't have the top cover for battery. Only on sides. Also the battery is not agm but efb for some weird reason, but whatever I guess engineers know what they're doing.

Re: Boot Organiser

I have the subwooer too. Just removed the PS holder from the boot. Car jack went straight out (useless with the roadside assistance anyway) and all the other tools could fit into a small pocket. So I now have two levels booth floor whenever I need it. I have bought a cheap aftermarket boot mat but f...

Re: Boot Organiser

Nice one!
One question though - is it possible to use this original boot rubber mat when you lower the boot floor, ie. does it still fit?

Secondly, nobody can tell how soon the owner will notice negative effects of SSA on the engine, there are so many variables. Me personally, I'm not going to ...

Start Stop Deactivation - Memory module

Hi all, most folks who know a thing or two about engines know that there's no way Start/Stop system is beneficial to the engine in your Q2. This applies especially to diesel engines. Cons vary from engine to engine but it's mainly starter motor and battery wear, frequent starts cause momentary poor ...

Windscreen washer delay on trigger / lagging

Hi everyone, 2 months since my Q2 1.6 TDI delivery and this weird behaviour of the screenwash is bugging me. Best way to describe - I pull the lever to start washing the windscreen, wipers start running but it takes 2-3 seconds for the fluid to start spraying and when i release the lever it keeps go...

Re: Headlight removal HELP!!

You can find the original audi workshop manual on erwin.audi.com. 7 EUR gives you one hour to download the PDF.
I'm not a fan of these dodgy mods either.
