Also almost ready to fit my R8 steering wheel. Its missing its start/stop and drive select buttons in the picture along with the lower trim but its all done now ready to go in. I have done the top, bottom and the full rear in carbon. Sides have been retrimmed in nappa with a tan stitch to match the ...

Re: Edition 1

I have been trimming the lower kick panel plastics in Dinamica, still got the b pillar ones to do but the rest are all done.

I will move onto the lower dash section next.

The aim is to get rid of as much plastic as possible and have a far nicer interior.

Re: Start/Stop

The battery's that have caused the problems are all MLA MOLL batteries. I have also had mine replaced at the end of 2018. My car has additional electrics and my dealership didn't have any concerns about it, but that's not to say your dealership will be the same so best to take precautions with the d...

Re: My new q2 2.0 tdi 190

To remove the gear gaiter you need to pull it upwards, I always start at the long side closest to the gear indication side, pull it inwards then up and it will come out, just work your way around. Re: My new q2 2.0 tdi 190

Hi Tony

The part number for the Q2 12v socket is 4M0919309C

Its on diagram 919-090 on ETKA for reference.

Couple for sale on ebay from Lithuania or the usual sources of TPS or Audi.

Get some pics up of your install once done, sounds a nice retrofit

Re: Wing Mirror Cover- same as Q3?

New shape Q3 is the same mirror cap so yes it will fit.

The covers themselves aren't too expensive from Audi or TPS though

Re: Quattro grille?

Yes all require the bumper off, most don't have a modular bumper though like the Q2 and most are simply bolted to the bumper from behind. The Q2 is bolted but then also the bumper sections are clipped to the grill and its a fiddly procedure to dismantle the whole lot. This is my custom grill which i...
