Re: Edition 1

Love this thread on what you have done, I see your seat belts are a tan colour to match the leather inlays on the seats are they original? I have the Edition 1 and my belts are black. I think what you done with the Dinamica is amazing the door cards on our Q2’ s for a premium brand is shocking and r...

Re: First service

Are cheers thanks for that, other cars we have had have been done for free or my Alpha I can do it myself.
Probably won’t bother as we will probably change it in 18 months time, don’t do a lot of mileage that needs a sat nav and what does we can get buy with it.

First service

Had my first service the other day a week early in case the shutdown spread to garages as well, fortunately it was free part of the service package but they tried to recoup this money from me when I said I assume you will be updating the sat nav? to which the reply was no but we can do it for three ...

Re: Spare Wheel or not?

It’s because of the profile of the tyres a lower profile one on your car tyre which is 18” so by going bigger you get the same overall size, haven’t explained it that well but that’s my understanding of it I did this when I had my TT picked one up on EBay don’t know if our stud pattern is the same a...

Re: Extra roof cargo while still using sunroof

The Roof Box Company are really helpful, if it was me I would go with Thule as I have. The reason being when you want to get rid or change your car Thule are really popular on the second hand market, to be fair Thule manufacture their bars for quite a few car manufacturers they may even make the one...

Re: Hi from bristol

I would defiantly go with the S tronic as well, I always said I would never have an auto as I like to drive the car but these boxes are nothing like the old autos the gear chance is so smooth you barly notice it not like the old days. Personaly I don't use the paddle shift very often but can see the...

Re: Service reminder

Thanks for all your replies guys, found the service data on the MMI it’s due at another 11600 miles which equates to 19,000 miles as previously said or 195 days which takes me to 2 years. The service cost isn’t an issue as we had two services paid for in the deal, think I will just top it up it’s ab...

Re: Service reminder

The service interval appears to be based on when the car was delivered to the dealership and they carried out a delivery check. I purchased my Q2 with 135 miles on the clock from the dealer in August 17, the car was registered 31st May 17 and the car had been delivered to the dealership in December...
