I'm new to Audi although have had 6 Passats up until 2004 so I'm getting used to the marque again.

However, I'm finding that driving above about 50 in heavy rain, I have a very annoying 'clicking' beside my right ear. Passengers in the rear seem to think it's coming from water on the driver's side window being blown over the seals.

Before I take it in to be checked, I'm wondering if anybody else has this problem and what the solution was?

Ernie - mine has been like that for the past 5 years. I think that it's just a design issue. It sounds almost like the rain is getting behind the door panels but apparently not. Really annoying until you learn to live with it!

So. thanks for your comments, yes it is annoying. I've had a visual at the seals, but they are the same both sides. Maybe driver's side noise is exacerbated by the additional water from the wipers driving the rain water to that side.
