There is a wee hole on the light clusters to let the condensation out, depending on the weather conditions the wee hole can also possibly let a small amount of water get in.
I’ve found this to be fairly commonplace in recent years with several cars and marques. Direct sunlight on a humid day can cause condensation in the light cluster.
Looking at the owners manual,if you need to replace the rear indicator bulb you have to take the rear cluster apart to get at the bulb so I would say the light unit itself is not particularly water tight.
