I'm researching options for a new order for my wife's replacement for her A3 and the Q2 seems to fit the bill. Question is what options to go for? Some are obvious from previous experience. However, some are new:

Does anyone have the driver assistance package? -are the extras worth it? Useful for stop / start traffic?

As her commute involves country roads, fast dual carriage way and numerous speed humps and potholes I was also considering adaptive dampers. Looking at used Q2s on autotrader this doesn't seem a popular option, but if anyone has this and has noticed a benefit I'd appreciate the feedback.

Look at my reply in the other thread on 19" wheels. I have adaptive dampers and I don't regret adding them in.

My car is fully specced except for DAB digital radio. Which functions are you referring to? We don't use the same terminology in Australia...

THe functions in the driver assistance advanced pack are:

Adaptive Cruise Control with stop and go
Traffic jam assist
Active lane assist
High beam assist
Camera traffic sign recognition
Parking system plus
Emergency assist
Side assist
Cross traffic assist rear

Great! I have all of those functions except camera traffic sign recognition (which i had to use vcds to activate). They are well-worth the money. Makes long-distance drives a charm.
