I would be keen to know if anyone has a Q2 (2.0 TFSI Quattro Sport) with a noisy wiper motor which makes an annoying high pitch whirring sound when oscillating the blades from side to side on the front windscreen? The wiper motor is not right at all however, the local Audi dealer says that it is fine and all Q2's sound the same.

Mine is ok, but i agree that it isnt the quietest of wiper motors. At low speeds then i do hear a "whiir" type noise but as soon as im over 30 then it's not noticeable. I'm not sure if this is due to the motor or the wipers. To me, it doesn't seem like a motor failure, it's not loud per se, just a bit louder than normal, something you would expect on a Dacia and not an Audi. My old A3 didn't have this noise.

My wiper motor is quiet, I have to almost turn the radio off before I can hear it.
