It has been suggested that all newer Audi's have towbar electric preparation. Without taking half the boot lining out, has anyone retrofitted a towbar and can confirm one way or the other whether the plugs are there?
I have checked the data sticker for the relevant PR numbers, but neither are present. Towing preparation wasn't an option which makes me wonder if Audi is adding towbar preparation as standard.
PR Numbers:
1D0 = Without trailer hitch
1D2 =Trailer hitch, removable and lockable
1M5 = Trailer hitch preparation
If anyone has done a retrofit, which wiring loom did you go for? I've found:
Westfelia (I haven't been able to confirm if their loom is the same as Audi)

Audi P/N: 81A 055 204 (13-pin w/o prep) or 81A 055 202 (13-pin w/ prep)
Something I have found regarding the Audi loom, Googling the part numbers yield very few results. I would have thought this would be a fairly popular eBay item.
