Hi, I'm new here as I just took delivery of my used 2018 Q2 S-Line yesterday. When it came I was told it does not have a service book as it's all online. Is that true and if so, how do I see it? Thank you.

What you have been told is correct.

Unless you have access to Erwin you cant see the service history.

Audi can give you a print out but not sure on the cost to do this.

Hi,

You should be able to see the service history on the MyAudi app. You will need to register the car using the VIN number and your details, then select the dealer you want to use as your partner and all going well you can see the service history.

Thanks Geh2020. I've been playing around with it today. I have to say all those settings and options in the MMI is very confusing to me. The previous owner did not give the SD Navi card and it keeps popping up the "SD Card is removed" message. Is there a way to stop this and also, are replacement cards cheap to acquire?

Hi,

You can obtain a replacement SD card from an Audi dealer, who no doubt will charge not only for the SD card, but for activation as well, and that won't be cheap! You can obtain a card from a number of the Navigation updates sellers on the internet, but from feedback on some of these sites, they don't always work.

If the car was advertised with Sat Nav then it's up to the dealer you purchased the car from to provide the SD card, or get them to pay for a replacement SD card and activation by an Audi dealer.

Thanks, they are sending me a replacement SD card. As the car previously had navigation activated, would the SD card just work anyway or do each card have to be separately activated?

Hi,

Not sure as I've read conflicting information on a few forums if a replacement SD card would work when Sat Nav is activated in the car. So I would call an Audi dealer to check in case there is a charge. If there is, that should be covered by the dealer who sold you the car.

The MMI is a little daunting to start with, but I found sitting in the car with the handbook and going through the different menus really helped. There are a number of YouTube videos that are worth a look, but find one for the Q2!

Trying to set up the MyAudi app but i dont have the 10 digit vehicle vode that came with the keys as im the 2nd owner of the car. Now im stuck as to how i finish setting up the app ?

Hi,

Two options, one is to get the dealer you purchased the car from to order the 10 digit number (it comes on a plastic strip) from the Audi dealer as this should have come with the car when it was purchased from the original owner by the dealer. The dealer will need to provide Audi with all the necessary Information formation from your car. Or you pay a visit to the Audi dealer and arrange for a replacement yourself, although there is a cost of around £70. I guess you've checked it's not in the in the handbook wallet or glove box.
