Any rules or suggestions on putting photos in posts on the forum?
I've just fitted a tow bar and took lots of photos so thought I could write up a HOW TO....
Any direction would be appreciated before I start.

Go to
https://postimages.org/
Select
Size (this one is 640x480) and
No Expiration
Click on
Upload and this will access your computer pics. Double click on the pic you want and it will start the upload.
When the upload is finished, look at the
second top selection -
Direct Link - and simply click on the icon at the far right (to copy the pic)
Go back to your forum post and click the photo link above the dialogue box (little mountain thingy) and [img] [img] will appear. Just right click between the two img's and it will automatically paste your link to postimages. Then click preview to see if it has worked.

No need to do that, you can add images directly to the forum from PC or phone.
Just click the attachments link on the bottom of any new post or full reply.

Thanks for that.
One question I have (due to not ever needing to manipulate photos) do I need reduce the resolution or something as these photos are taken by my iPhone 5s, or, does the forum system do it so that it doesn't clog up with huge files sizes etc?

Well that doesn't work very well.
Spent hours trying this out and getting the forum to keep your photos doesn't work.
In my initial post on a tow bar fitment I put four photos in it, did a preview and it all looked fine, so I clicked Submit and the actual post now has lost the photos.
It's taken most of the day between jobs and it hasn't worked out well.
