I was out today - our side street was still thickly covered. Felt ok, lots of ABS kicking in. Raised ground clearance certainly helps with your confidence as I had to mount the kerb a couple of times to avoid badly parked vehicles.
I’ve just got stuck up a hill in my Q2. Tried to use manual gears both on stick and steering wheel and neither worked! Nightmare. Managed to detour back home after kissing a hedge with front and having to gently manoeuvre back onto road, which wasn’t simple. Dissapointed and glad I had good training in snow driving years ago with the steering. Does anyone know if the manual gearbox cuts out in snow, leaving just auto?
