My 2018 Q2 is due for its first service and I’m booked in two weeks with the dealership where I bought it. I didn’t get the service pack and I’ve been quoted £323, for what is effectively an oil and filter change! ... oh and a comprehensive check! Is this price about right?
Should I ring around?
Thanks in advance.
I am in the same dilema MickyD... I have not booked yet though as Audi Manchester still not open for service. My Q2 is also 2018 and it has not had any service yet at 9.5k now.. is due for the 2 years oil service + inspection.. when i asked prices around most of them are on the £350 region... i think that’s a crazy price.
My plan is to get a service plan £468 and at least i am covered until the warranty of the car runs out in 2021.. i am going Ask the dealer to set the schedule to fix services as i only do around 5-6k a year. After service plan will finish i will take it to an Audi specialist that have access to record the service digitally.
You can pay the plan at £19 month with 0% interest for 24 months or all in one go..

I hope this helps.. dont pay £323 for an oil change and inspection... at £468 you make the an idea that you are paying £234 for each service.. :) sounds bad still i know..

Hi,

The service plan was what I was initially looking at (£468), but as Audi Complete is for three services, and covers things like a/c, brake fluid and a lot of other benefits as listed in the attachment I posted, this costed in for me. One thing to consider is Audi Complete is based on mileage, so your very low miles will reduce the monthly cost dramatically, so definitely worth getting a quote. Audi Complete also interest free and it covers you for three years.

Hi,

I may be wrong, but I’m sure for 5K per year the cost will be much lower than the £19 per month you will pay for the 2 year service plan, and with Complete you get a lot more service services.

Can you buy Complete plan in UK even if you dont get it when first purchased the car? If so I may need to speak to the Service department see what they can offer me on Complete plan.. it is not available on plan services on Audi Uk website.. so i though only you could get it at the time purchased the car.. I purchased the car from Audi but was approved Audi.. low miles.

Normally an approved Audi come with two free services ours did which was a demo. do a bit or research and if all Audi garages offer this ask the question why didn’t yours

Forgot, we asked about a service plan but couldn’t have one as it wasn’t a new car despite only having 26miles on the clock as a demo but didn’t really mind as had a fantastic deal

Hi,

Definitely worth checking, as often Audi usually has promotions that offer two free services with a used car, but some dealers accidentally forget about this!

For Audi Complete, it’s available for Cars up to 1 year old who haven’t yet had their first service. No model exclusions apply. This is taken from the Audi web site. The dealer can quote for whatever mileage you ask for for each of the packages, so the basic package, the service and maintenance, or the service and maintenance with tyres. I wouldn’t bother with adding tyres as the cost is far greater than a few tyres purchased at discount prices from online sites or even Audi dealers.

Pity then is not for me as my car is now just 2 years old... :( long shot but i will ask Audi UK about the 2 free services... although my dealer when i bought the car said that services were not included as they made me a v nice deal on the car. I think i will need to stick to the £468 for the 2 services plan ... at least until it sees out its warranty in 2021..
