Gracie - have you checked your tyre pressures, just in case they are low?

Just filled a couple of full tanks with BP diesel Ultimate and my mpg has decreased from 625 miles to 580 miles on a full tank. Thinking of going back to the cheaper supermarket standard diesel!

I'm getting around 50mpg on my 90 mile round trip commute on a mix of country lanes, town centre and motorway.

Q2 1.0 TFSI Sport on standard tyres and have done around 1100 miles upto now.

Also worth adding that I was a little wary of ordering the 1.0 TFSI and would it be a bit sluggish and can say that I'm really pleased with the performance. It's at least as nippy as my previous A1 1.6 TDI that this replaced.

That is some high range!

Best I can get is 525 on a tank from my 2.0TDi 150 Quattro S Tronic.

Mileage is currently at 2400 so should be run in by now and I mainly do motorway miles.

I took delivery of my 1.4 TFSi Sport S-Tronic a year ago next week, and I've done around 11,500 miles. I've been tracking fuel usage accurately for about 6 months using the Fuelio app, and the real-world average over that time has been 42.0 mpg. I do a typical mixture of motorway and urban mileage, generally within speed limits, making very extensive use of adaptive cruise control.

I'm pretty happy with that.

Update...just had first service and oil change after 13 months 18100 miles. No problems. Tyres only used 3.5 tread on front.
Average mpg total 61mpg. Mostly 100 mile motorway trips. 60/65 mph usually in adaptive cruise mode.
Mainly refuel at asda, sometimes morrisons. Asda minworth nr brum are usually quite cheap.
Happy driving
