My Q2 will be a year old in March.....very low mileage, only 4000miles. Will it need a service, oil change, anything? Or will the computer tell me when it's time? Thanks
Audi say the car will tell you when its due, but if you dont want to go to the 19000ml service distance you can go in and request an interim oil and filter change!
As I Understand it, the variable system will adapt to your mileage and style of use, it will give you a service notification based on either time or mileage, go into the MMI and it will tell you when the service is due (mileage and time). However as Stevebod says, you can ignore this and if you are only doing a low mileage you can have the service carried out every 12 months. My Q2 was 12 months old in December with 10,000 miles, I am going to let the variable system dictate the service, but my wife's A1 is low mileage (13,000 in five years) and I have this serviced annually. Hope this helps.
Thanks, will wait till MMI tells me but might have the interim stuff done. Does Audi notify you if there is a software update?
