Audi connect is a service provided by Audi and Audi only. Do you mean WiFi hotspot data??

If you mean the hotspot data costs above, its provided by Cubic Telecom and pricing for each country is different. For the UK:

United Kingdom
2 GB package: Data volume: 2 GB - Duration: 30 days - Price: 13.50 GBP
5 GB package: Data volume: 5 GB - Duration: 30 days - Price: 29.50 GBP
25 GB package: Data volume: 25 GB - Duration: 365 days - Price: 132.00 GBP

If you have Audi Connect then data costs for the actual car functions are included in the price. The prices above are just for devices connecting to the car.

Yep correct. Audi Connect is included in the car for 3yrs and then usually you are upgrade for 1yr for free. This includes things operated by the MMI. Any device wanting to connect to the cars Wifi hotspot can do so but the owner of the car needs a data package. This is NOT Audi Connect. It is a service bought from Cubic Telecom here:

https://audi.cubictelecom.com/en/

Alternativly the owner can buy a data sim card and wack that in the MMI but then the Audi Connect Data will come from the sim card by default, so if you think you can get 25gb from a sim by Vodafone or 3 for cheaper, it mgith not be so cheap due to it using the data for the maps and so on.
