So even with all the new car technology the figures are still rising, what do you make of that?

Well, people are likely getting behind the wheel drunk more often. I mean I really don't know, That and texting have to account into this.

More motorists on the road is always going to lead to more crashes and ultimately deaths.
More technology is not always a good thing, often it is a distraction.
Driving standards are shocking also.
