Heated Wing mirror

Post by yaz2010 » Thu Jul 05, 2018 4:16 pm

Hi All,
I have used the know on the door to switch on the heated wing mirrors in the past. When you turn it on, it indicated on the dash that it is turned on.
It was raining heavily and I tried to use it yesterday , however I was not getting any indication on the dash.

Looked up in the manual and it says it is weather dependent. Its been nice in UK over the last few weeks.

Wondering if anyone else encountered this or if anyone could try and use it to see if the indication comes on at all in this weather?

Thank you.

Regards,

YAz

Where do you get the message?

I have virtual cockpit and only message I get (from memory) is in the consumption bar stating its on. I will give it a go later and see.

Hi Ian,
I have virtual cockpit as well.

You are right I used to see it in below consumption meter.

I would really appreciate if you check and let me know.

Thank you

Hi Ian,
Thanks for checking.
I tried it and it worked for me. So I guess it is temperature dependant. It was 18degrees when I tried it.
