Google Maps - Not loading in MMI

I am in Sri Lanka. My Q2 1.0 TFSI was imported from Japan. After unlocking 4G SIM, MMI connects to servers and downloading news ect but shown only Japanese news. And also Google Earth is not loading. Please advice me about the possible cause and how to correct this situation.

Did little bit of research and reading in the net and found possible cause - Although MMI connects to the net with 4G SIM my vehicle has NO Sri Lankan maps.

Can you explain what you mean by after unlocking? How did you do this? Can't we use a 4G sim from a local provider directly without any tweaks?
